Ministerial Portfolios
I’m proud to serve Victoria and represent my local community as a Minister in the Victorian Government. Here’s an overview of my work in each portfolio, as well as some helpful resources.
Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment
What the portfolio does
As Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, I’m focused on growing our visitor economy, creating new trade opportunities and attracting investment that supports Victorian jobs, businesses and communities.
That means helping exporters reach new markets through, backing world class events and investing in regional tourist destinations that bring visitors to every corner of our state, and working with industry to create secure, well-paid jobs. Together, we’re strengthening our economy and helping local communities in Victoria thrive.
What I’m working on

Taking Victoria to the world
Helping Victorian businesses find new markets and grow their exports through Global Victoria’s network.

Bringing visitors to Victoria
Our Government has built Victoria into Australia’s second-largest visitor economy from the Murray to the Great Ocean Road, from Melbourne to the High Country we’re backing Victoria’s regions and showcasing the best of what our state has to offer.

Minister for Small and Family Business
What the portfolio does
Small and family businesses are the backbone of Victoria’s economy, and we know there’s more work to do. We’re cutting red tape, we’ve reduced the payroll tax for small businesses and through our Economic Growth Statement, we’re making it easier to do business in Victoria.
We’ve invested in multicultural small businesses and local precincts. We’ve reintroduced the Multicultural Small Business Ministerial Council and the Small Business Ministerial Council, so businesses have a direct voice to Government. We’re also helping businesses grow and succeed through Business Victoria, the one-stop shop for small businesses, sole traders and entrepreneurs to start, run and grow their business.

Minister for Veterans
What the portfolio does
As the Minister for Veterans I work with the veteran community, ex-service organisations and the Shrine of Remembrance to make sure our veterans and their families get the support, recognition and opportunities they deserve.
I’ve delivered record funding to support Victorian veterans and their families. We introduced the Veterans Card – Victoria, the first of its kind, recognising veterans’ service and providing real cost-of-living relief. We’ve established the veteran public sector employment program, getting veterans into good secure jobs, and we’re delivering real funding support to the veteran ex-service organisations and RSLs. Through the Premier’s Spirit of Anzac Prize, we’re ensuring that younger generations learn firsthand about Australia’s war and peacekeeping history.
