Applications Open For 2015 Marketing Innovation Fund

Whether your work appears on stage, on screen, in galleries, games or garments, Victorian organisations are invited to get inventive in their marketing with the launch of Creative Victoria’s 2015 Marketing Innovation Fund.

Applications are now open for the fund, which provides one-off support of up to $15,000 for small to medium creative organisations to embark on innovative ways to expand their audience or market.

The program, which will support up to 75 per cent of the cost of a new marketing campaign or project, aims to take the risk out of implementing new marketing initiatives. The fund will support projects that:

  • Promote the organisation in new ways
  • Engage audiences/markets and build brand awareness
  • Diversify and/or increase revenue streams
  • Have the potential to inform future core marketing activities, and/or
  • Promote collaboration with others in the creative industries sector

Previously run in 2012, the Marketing Innovation Fund has successfully supported the establishment of new Customer Relationship Management systems, new fundraising campaigns, collaborative projects that increased first-time audiences by 50%, and the development of a regional venue ‘What’s On’ app.

Small to medium Victorian organisations working in all sectors of the creative industries – arts, culture, screen and design – are encouraged to apply.

Applications close at 5pm, Thursday 7 May 2015 for projects commencing after 1 June 2015.
