Upgrade at St Albans Meadows Primary School
Students at St Albans Meadows Primary School will soon benefit from improved roofing and structural maintenance, thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.
Member for St Albans, Natalie Suleyman MP today visited the school to announce it will be receiving $466,000 in funding to repair and upgrade their school facilities, in particular undertaking roofing and structural maintenance at the school.
The upgrade at St Albans Meadows Primary School is one of more than 100 building works planned under the Government’s Planned Maintenance Program, which is providing $24 million in funding to schools for specific buildings and infrastructure upgrades.
The Government is investing $2.5 billion in better classrooms, upgraded facilities and new schools across the state.
Victoria’s school building boom has delivered more than 1,000 school upgrades and 56 new school projects across the state, supporting almost 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
